Process: Rose and the Rime
This show included the elements of performer flying and aerial silks, in addition to a fully composed musical score, and projections. This is an excerpt from rehearsal where we captured video in order to better coordinate all the technical elements and to time the music perfectly to the business.
The production required a storyboard approach whereby every element could be mapped. The process began with a breakdown of the show into small action sequences. I provided images to designers to help initiate the development of mood and style.
